Cookie notice

Only what the service needs.

This notice explains the small amount of browser storage UMA uses to keep accounts secure and the service working.

Strictly necessary sign-in and security

UMA and its authentication provider use session cookies to recognise a signed-in account, protect private workspaces, refresh a valid session and sign the user out. These cookies are essential to provide the account service requested by the user and cannot be switched off within UMA.

Interface preferences

UMA may remember limited interface choices, such as whether a workspace sidebar is open, for up to seven days. This information is used only to provide the chosen interface and is not used to profile the user.

Guest upload receipts

When a guest uploads Memory QR content, the browser keeps a private receipt so that guest can review or delete files uploaded from that browser. It is not an account and does not provide access to the event gallery.

No advertising cookies

UMA does not currently use advertising, cross-site tracking or optional marketing cookies. If optional analytics or marketing technology is introduced, UMA will update this notice and provide a consent choice before setting it where consent is required.

Browser controls

You can clear UMA cookies and site storage in your browser. Clearing sign-in cookies will log you out, clearing interface preferences will reset them, and clearing a guest upload receipt may remove your ability to manage that upload without help from the event owner.
